Welcome to Eastside Velo Cycling Club

2014 Mammoth Fall Century & Gran Fondo Video Highlights

The 2014 Mammoth Fall Century & Gran Fondo was a great success this year. In our 21st year, it was our best ever and we want to thank every Eastside Velo member that volunteered to help with the event and those of you that rode in it too!  It was great seeing all of those ESV kits out there. Thank you all!

We're planning an even better and bigger event next year and we hope you'll join us on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Mammoth Lakes. To find out more, go to FallCentury.org and Like Us! on our Facebook page. Thank you again. Have a safe and enjoyable year of cycling. We'll see you in the Fall of 2015 on the Mammoth Fall Century & Gran Fondo!

SAFE AND LAWFUL RIDING PRACTICES - A quick note, if you're riding in a group on a road with no bike lane, whenever a car approaches from behind you or in-front of you, you must ride single-file as far to the right of the road as is practical.  This is a great video shared with us by the Marin County Bicycling Coalition.

  • 4th of July Weekend: Hawthorne Ride

Kick-off your 4th of July Weekend with Eastside Velo's Hawthorne Ride. This is an incredible ride that features some of the straightest and best piece of road in the Eastern Sierra. The ride departs from Mono Lake Park (51365 US-395, Lee Vining, CA 93541) and heads up 395 North for a few miles before making a right turn onto CA 167. We follow this out to the CA/Nev Border for about 25 miles and then turn back. On our way back we hit the small climb to Lundy Lake and then return to the park. The total ride is 58.5 Miles with 2,644 Feet of Climbing. Check out the link below for full details from Ride With GPS and be sure to RSVP.

This is a lightly supported ride and there will be no aid stations on this ride so we remind you to bring enough Food/Fuel to get you through the ride. We will offer electrolyte mix, bars/gels, light snacks at the Start so fuel up there!

Put your feet up in the grass post ride at the Mono Lake Park where we will have some post ride snacks and beer.

Riders visiting the area are welcome to join for free. Just show up!
