The 2014 Mammoth Fall Century & Gran Fondo was a great success this year. In our 21st year, it was our best ever and we want to thank every Eastside Velo member that volunteered to help with the event and those of you that rode in it too! It was great seeing all of those ESV kits out there. Thank you all!
We're planning an even better and bigger event next year and we hope you'll join us on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Mammoth Lakes. To find out more, go to FallCentury.org and Like Us! on our Facebook page. Thank you again. Have a safe and enjoyable year of cycling. We'll see you in the Fall of 2015 on the Mammoth Fall Century & Gran Fondo!
Whenever you are riding, please ride as far to the right as is safe and practical. If you are on roads with bike lanes, please use them. If you are on roads that do not have bike lanes, again, please ride as far to the right as is safe and practical and if you are riding in a group, whenever traffic approaches from behind you or in-front of you, please move into a single-file riding formation as far to the right as possilbe. These riding practices will help cars pass us more easily and it is a courtesy most of us would appreciate if we were driving in a car and encountered a group of cyclists. Thank you for riding safely and responsibly. Eastside Velo
SAFE AND LAWFUL RIDING PRACTICES - A quick note, if you're riding in a group on a road with no bike lane, whenever a car approaches from behind you or in-front of you, you must ride single-file as far to the right of the road as is practical. This is a great video shared with us by the Marin County Bicycling Coalition.
Umm,...not exactly what the sign guys had in-mind?
