The 2014 Mammoth Fall Century & Gran Fondo was a great success this year. In our 21st year, it was our best ever and we want to thank every Eastside Velo member that volunteered to help with the event and those of you that rode in it too! It was great seeing all of those ESV kits out there. Thank you all!
We're planning an even better and bigger event next year and we hope you'll join us on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Mammoth Lakes. To find out more, go to FallCentury.org and Like Us! on our Facebook page. Thank you again. Have a safe and enjoyable year of cycling. We'll see you in the Fall of 2015 on the Mammoth Fall Century & Gran Fondo!
SAFE AND LAWFUL RIDING PRACTICES - A quick note, if you're riding in a group on a road with no bike lane, whenever a car approaches from behind you or in-front of you, you must ride single-file as far to the right of the road as is practical. This is a great video shared with us by the Marin County Bicycling Coalition.
Memorial Day Kick Off Ride
Join us for a nice Friday afternoon spin from Footloose Sports to the June Lake Junction & Back. We will leave Footloose and head up Main Street, past the Village and out the Scenic Loop to 395 North. Ride 395 North to June Lake Junction and return home via Mammoth Lakes exit.
Please join Bill Cockroft and Caroline Casey for ride to the top of Tioga Pass and back on Memorial Day. The ride will leave from the Footloose Sports parking lot at 8:30am sharp. Ride all of the ride or any part of it. The more the merrier!
This is a non-supported ride, but there will be options for supplies at June Lake Junction and the Mobil Mart south of Lee Vining.
Umm,...not exactly what the sign guys had in-mind?
